Kimberly Shaw (Partner)

Admitted February 1991, Kimberly is an employment specialist. On qualification she worked as an assistant solicitor at Penningtons in the commercial litigation department dealing with mainly shareholder litigation and employment.

In 1994, Kimberly moved to Edward Lewis as an assistant solicitor in the employment team.

In 2000 Kimberly moved to Collyer Bristow as a partner in the employment team and became Head of the employment team in 2005.

In July 2007 Kimberly joined Irvine and Partners to rejoin Andrew Irvine and Jonathan Roper, with whom she had worked at Collyer Bristow.

Kimberly undertakes all areas of contentious and non contentious employment work, including unfair and wrongful dismissals, redundancies, reorganisation and restructuring. Kimberly advises regularly on a range of discrimination issues including harassment, victimisation and bullying cases including claims brought under the Protection of Harassment Act. She advises on restrictive covenants and confidential information matters. Kimberly advises on high court contractual claims including bonus claims and breach of redundancy policies.

Kimberly acts for companies and senior executive on terminations including advising in relation to share options and benefits. She also regularly advises companies on TUPE issues and outsourcing.

Kimberly lectures and gives seminars together with management training to companies on handling a variety of HR and employment issues in the workplace.

Kimberly is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
